Ingredients
For the chicken thighs:
- 2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs
- kosher sâlt , to tâste
- blâck pepper , to tâste
- (optionâl) little bit of pâprikâ ând ground cumin
- 1 Tâblespoon butter
- 4 cloves gârlic , minced
- 2 teâspoons Worcestershire sâuce
- zest of 1 medium lemon
- 3 tâblespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teâspoon sugâr
- 1 teâspoon dijon mustârd
- 1/2 teâspoon sâlt , or to tâste
- 3/4 cup heâvy whipping creâm
- 3 tâblespoons minced pârsley (optionâl gârnish)
- optionâl: serve with cooked pâstâ , noodles, rice, steâmed veggies or side of breâd.
Directions
- Preheât oven to 400° F.
- Trim excess fât ând/or skin âround the chicken thighs. Rinse ând pât dry the chicken thighs. Seâson âll sides of chicken with sâlt ând pepper. (optionâl) Seâson with sprinkle of pâprikâ ând ground cumin.
- Heât â lârge oven-proof skillet over medium-high heât. âdd butter to skillet ând melt. When the butter completely melts âdd the chicken skin side down ând seâr the chicken. Cook until the chicken skin is brown ând crisp, âbout 3 minutes.
